Our Judaica Book Shelf Holder features the Lion of Judah.
The Lion of Judah is the symbol of the Hebrew tribe of Judah (the Jewish tribe). According to the Torah, the tribe consists of the descendants of Judah, the fourth son of Jacob. The association between Judah and the lion, most likely the Asiatic lion, can first be found in the blessing given by Jacob to his son Judah in the Book of Genesis. ~Wikipedia
The design comes flat, for easy and inexpensive shipping, in a 15/20 cm (5.91 / 7.87 Inch) envelope. To easily shape it into a supportive form:
- Carefully bend the figure at 90 degrees
- Then bend the middle part to 90 degrees, so the foot of the lion is rest on the base.
😀 💡 Accuracy is not crucial… the books will press it into place.
